century. The artistic and educational digitized montage we call "The
Time Tapestry" tells the story of 1000 years "in the round," with a
fascinating composition of archival art.
Woven together on computer are hundreds of separately scanned images, creating our unprecedented "digital tapestry" that beckons you to travel back in time. In clockwise sequence, The Time Tapestry commemorates each of the past ten centuries. It is a visual anthology of significant events, people and intellectual advances since the year 1001.
Shown at right is a small section of our original Time Tapestry circular design, which merely hints at the incredible detail featured in the actual sized work. It inspired our ingenious collection of museum quality, heirloom gifts for the ages - one of which was featured in Smithsonian magazine. And it has earned our project international acclaim (click on the "About Us" link below for more background).
With its academic integrity and its creative whimsy, our award winning Time Tapestry has become a whole new way of looking at history.
